Universal Windows software audio mixer (theoretically works with any sound card), has 16 inputs, 10 outputs (2x master, 8x aux), 16 effect sends, connection patchbay, master limiter, per-channel 3band EQ, PAN, GAIN, GATE, FX Send, AUX Sends, MUTE, SOLO, PRE/POST for AUXes, recording to WAV file and sending each channel over network. Tested with soundcard Tascam US-16×08, works pretty well. Mixer is still in beta phase, if you find any errors, please send me an email with a description of the error to admin@kvokni.cz
Requirements:
First of all you need (required) PTPd master clock at dedicated machine on same network if you want to use AES67 protocol. ASIO driver for Windows (everytime use your soundcard ASIO driver) if you don’t have it, use one of the universal ASIO drivers (FlexASIO, KoordASIO, Steinberg built-in ASIO driver) JACK server (https://jackaudio.org) – download and install.
Software used: AES67 Sender by Phil Hartung – https://github.com/philhartung/aes67-sender
First install the ASIO driver for your sound card, then download and install the JACK server and configure it with your ASIO driver. Download mixer, unzip and start. It will appear in the JACK server and you can use it. After the first mixer launch, open and close Patchbay, the program will create the necessary files. Then close mixer, open it again and all is ready.
The software is still in beta testing, I would be grateful for any insights and objections you send to admin@kvokni.cz. Thank you.
If you find the software useful or you like it, please support my work and further development.
